Ronald (Ron) Dupuis

Ronald (Ron) Dupuis CFP, CLU, ChFC, Vice President and Senior Consultant   supports KBI’s client companies across Asia to accelerate their agency development and related distribution initiatives. After nearly four decades of association with founders, Jack and Garry Kinder, Ron’s experience with the Kinder sales management systems has been key to the success of many agency organizations under his leadership. 

After another successful career chapter as Regional Vice President with Sun Life Financial (Canada), Ron joined Kinder Brothers International in 2018. While at Sun Life from 2007, Ron’s regional sales and distribution teams in Western Canada consistently ranked #1 in all production and quality metrics across the Canadian business. Under Ron’s experienced leadership, his Financial District teams were awarded the coveted Excellence Cup as Sun Life’s top Financial District in 5 of those 10 years and in multiple years since. During this tenure, Ron was responsible for building a substantial presence and market share in the growing multicultural markets across Western Canada. In 2016, Ron was recognized with Sun Life’s CEO Award of Excellence. 

Prior to his role in Canada, Ron enjoyed a successful senior management career with leading companies in Southeast Asia. Beginning in 1996 and for the next 11 years, he led agency distribution channels and development teams with AIA in Singapore and Thailand, with Hong Leong Assurance in Malaysia and finally with Prudential (UK) in Vietnam and Hong Kong.  As a Chief Master Trainer with the Kinder Management Academy, Ron was instrumental in the early implementation of Professional Patterns of Management (PPM) in each of these companies. 

Throughout his career, Ron has been a contributor to the life insurance industry. He served as a trainer and moderator of LIMRA’s Agency Management Training Course (AMTC) and was a member of LIMRA’s Research Agency Group (Canada) for several years. During his early years as a successful agent and agency leader, Ron held leadership roles in life industry organization chapters, with both Advocis and GAMA.

Kinder Brothers believes Ron’s depth of knowledge and years of experience in Asian markets will continue to have a significant impact in strengthening core competencies for the agency distribution teams of KBI’s client companies.
