What do you expect of yourself?

Posted

"The most rewarding things you do in life are often

the ones that look like they cannot be done."

- Arnold Palmer

You've heard it said, "What you see is what you get." Consider this alternative: What you expect is what you get. Expect great things of yourself. Expect high achievement. Expect the best!

The bumblebee doesn't know it is aerodynamically impossible for him to fly. He simply expects it of himself!

What do you expect of yourself? Are you like the bumblebee who doesn't know he can't? Or do you limit yourself by staying within restrictive boundaries?

Dr. Denis Waitley challenges you, "Make your goals out of reach, but never out of sight." Meggido Message has said, "If you have accomplished all you planned for yourself, you have not planned enough." Don't limit yourself by planning only that which is possible to accomplish.

Arnold Palmer's statement that the most rewarding things you do in life are often the ones that look like they can't be done points you in the right direction. Expect to do those things that look like they can't be done. That's the source of highest satisfaction.

Set your expectations high; they will be the limit to which you rise. And when those expectations are set high, begin to do the little things required to reach those goals. Doing little things well is a necessary step toward doing big things with excellence! Expect the best!

Good luck and good selling!
